Happy 2017!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.

This is not a fare request thread. Any fare requests will be deleted.

Some decent UA fares PHL-DEN-PHL. I was able to book a OW for $80.. then return for $130. Not Basic Economy.

SFO-PHL, AA $99 basic economy $139 regular economy same day turnaround

appears available in Oct/Nov/Dec 2017, has routings through CLT/ORD/DFW/PIT, most seem to be 3 legs in one direction with a possibility of a non-stop in the other direction,

It also appears you can't spend more than 3 hours on the ground in Philadelphia or the price goes up considerably.

SEA-ZRH/MUC 2.7cpm UA/*A

Didn't see this posted, but SEA-ZRH/MUC on UA/*A is roughly $350 roundtrip.

The minimum stay doesn't make it a true MR, but I found it super helpful to complete my nested MUC-SFO biz fare from last month, especially considering no crazy surcharge for leaving xmas week.

Yikes, that's a rare occurrence then that they posted something first. And after reading their post, looks like you can get it even cheaper if you use some of the shady OTAs.

Definitely found on my own since I was needing a RT to nest with the MUC-SFO fare, and actually found some reasonable SEA-MUC options, with ZRH being slightly cheaper. Was most pleased it seemed to omit the holiday surcharges...
