Happy 2017!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.
Note that you can subscribe to this thread: go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".
This is not a fare request thread. Any fare requests will be deleted.

**EDIT** Lots of options popping up with AA (or OW) out of CVG (and other cities), same time frame, to Europe including BCN, AMS, MAD, VCE, etc. Countries include Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, Switzerland, & Sweden among others. Bookable on AA.com

**EDIT** Appears to be OW sale on ST hubs...additional cities include MSP, DTW, BOS, ATL, SEA, etc - sub $400 fares available.

useful for a cheap return flight from asia or australia in december

london can be swapped for many other european cites for similar prices
geneva can be changed to zurich for not much more
hong kong, tokyo, shanghai or beijing are also cheapish on the way back

This is kinda hilarious and stupid.

UA is offering good fares to TPE from Canada, AC offering good fares to TPE from the US. Just artificially filling the planes by shuttling people across the border unnecessarily.

I subscribe to an email that sends out, "deals." I got one today with a decent price...not quite MR worthy, but I'm considering it, and thought it may help some others:

If you're willing to leave AUS at 5am , go through DFW, and have a long layover at MIA , you can save $54.

You can leave from a bunch of other cities, and dates pretty open Oct-March (except around Christmas).

If anyone else is interested, shoot me a PM. I'm not sure if I need/want another trip this year, but if I do it, it would be sometime around those Nov dates.

For my itinerary above, it works out to 7c/mile.
