VA: BNE-MEL-NAN-BNE $377 AUD all-in
Pretty good fare. Appears you have to overnight in MEL and then only 24 hours in NAN. Can't find fare class, probably pretty poor earnings on VA but should earn 4946 MQM on Delta which is ~5.7 CPM USD. Sample Date Feb 1-3, can't seem to get a longer stay. Many days available through March.
With 10 hours in MEL you could slum it at the airport, but realistically you need 2 nights hotel (one in MEL one in NAN) so that makes it not a perfect MR but it is an interesting deal.

Just a FYI, because MEL-NAN is an international flight, and therefore leaving the international terminal, DL elites will not have lounge access, only VA elites do.

Yes I had both dates and a travel period in my post. Feb 1-3 works, many other dates work between Jan and March. But unfortunately it only works with a three-day window, which only gives you about 24 hours in NAN.

DL elites can use the Virgin Australia lounge in MEL. It is outside security in the domestic terminal, which is just a very short walk from the international terminal. Maybe not ideal to be outside security but it is a pretty nice lounge with showers.
