Thank you, OP!!
I got so intrigued with this I researched the various stops a bit. I'd been looking at Guam for a long time as a possible destination. This is much more fun and interesting.
To share my research:
GUM - Guam International
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoni...tional_Airport
TKK - Chuuk International on Weno Island
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuuk_...tional_Airport
PNI - Pohnpei International on Pohnpei Island
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pohnpe...tional_Airport
KSA - Kosrae International located on an artificial island
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosrae...tional_Airport
KWA - Bocholz Army Airfield on Kwajalein Island
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucholz_Army_Airfield
MAJ - Marshall Islands International
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marsha...tional_Airport
And then I mapped it on www.rome2rio.com. A line generally headed toward Honolulu. Definitely the makings of a fine trip.

Finding and booking an island hopper run!
I often read these island hopper mileage run threads with envy; and not just for the miles, but also and more importantly for the opportunity to see some of the islands that one actually hops!
I have taken a few shots at building an itinerary, and every time the price has been a few thousands.
So is there a trick to finding and booking an island hopper deal, particularly if I want long layovers on some of the islands, or is it a matter of playing with dates and routes until you find one you like (price wise)? In the latter case, do specific origins and destinations work best?
Thanks.

Also, the PVG flight only operations 2x a week, so be mindful of this too.
I've had the best luck manually feeding the flights via United and selecting the options that way.
