UA: ORD-XIY $558 3.3cpm or DEN-XIY $580 3.9cpm

Seeing a lot of $556-$560 from ORD and $580 from DEN over the next month to Xian, China (XIY), home of the Terracotta Soldiers.

Fly through SFO and you'll get UA 787 metal from SFO-XIY and XIY-SFO

Same is available on AA for the same fares from DEN. It is not often one gets deals out of DEN, thanks to OP making a long weekend in January over this.

Now to get the Chinese visa.

Love this. Recently saw XIY & CTU in the $600-$700 range from the east coast. DEN-China for <$600? Where was this when I lived there!?!?

I took this SFO-XIY flight about a month ago -- relatively empty flight meant that in E+ everyone had a whole row to themselves. Might be the most I've ever slept in economy in longhaul.

SFO-XIY is seasonal and ends late this month; the last flight is October 28 or 29. After that, you will have to connect through PEK.

I need to be on the look out of this one next year - it's only a few bucks more out of SAN but I am completely booked for the rest of this year. Thanks OP.
