Ua: Ord-sfo-nrt-gum-hnl-iah-ord $448

Booked through Kayak on United.com by searching for ORD -> GUM. The routing seems to only work on trips less than 3 days. It books into K. It doesn't seem to work on ITA Matrix (mine is erroring out).

Sample days: March 20-23, 2016, April 24 -27, 2016

This is actually the NRT fare, which explains the 3 day limit (stopovers).

Why delete the thread? Seems like a pretty good deal.

Wow this is a great find! Most trans-Pac flights specifically have a "no stopover in Guam" rule so being able to actually go there and stay is a great deal!

Yeah, I thought sexykitten7 meant it had already been covered in the NRT deal thread. I need to read posts more carefully...

Glad it's helping someone out! IMO, the overnight in Guam is the best part.

Island Hopper?

Wonder if you can work the Island Hopper into this itinerary? Of course it's supposedly better going east to west....

Island Hopper runs M-W-F. I haven't been able to find dates that would price in $400+ range though.

I was able to price some itineraries including the island hopper for ~$420 or so. Searched on United.com using multi-city:

ORD-HNL
HNL-GUM (make sure it's a MWF)
GUM-NRT
NRT-ORD

Was able to find multiple dates up through around May 9th.

Are you still finding these? It appears to be well into $1500+ when I search ITA or Google for it.

Just checked same dates I was looking at yesterday and fare is apparently gone. Too bad - that was a great deal I just couldn't get it to fit in my schedule.

I tried on united.com and I couldn't get it either but I was only trying for a very finite set of dates.

Island Hopper is definitely worth it... once. Not sure that i would do it again in Y.

Then again, that GF is long gone, maybe a new one would like to try it
