TK: BRU-NRT 33780 JPY (260 Euro's) return

Hello everybody,

I'm posting a TK special fare at just 33780 Japanese Yen (or about 260 Euro's) return on Expedia Japan.
The itinerary is outbound BRU-IST-NRT inbound NRT-IST-BRU
Dates in May/June 2016. 10 days stay.
Fare class P so only 25% miles with TK miles and smiles.

I booked it.
Fair warning: Turkey is becoming a war zone. 6 months from now who knows where things stand.

I found this one also one and a half day ago, but you can't post this here as this is only for mileage run deals. (Not my opinion) This comes out as ~ 8 cpm therefore it's not a good mileage run deal.

When will we all agree to banish the word "error" when describing great fares? It only hurts the consumer.

Wouldn't it be fun if no matter what time of year, we referred to these fares as a "cyber Monday extension" (CME)?

Or maybe just a "Hard To Believe" (HTB) fare?

I saw booking class V for AMS-IST-NRT, which is 50% on A3. ^

On the blogs, with credit to you. Never seen that before. Berlin for around 350eur.

Works from other European destinations and as open jaws as well. WAW-NRT-TXL around 275eur.

Seen many deals around these prices, not so sure they are error fares.

For a P fare I don't think it's much of an error if any at all, those come up cheap all the time. Tons on TK non-mileage earning fares (other than maybe a fraction in M&S) for sub $500 if you watch the board.

+1
what evidence do we have to call it an error? Its airline pricing after all, any number should be normal.

Call it what you want, I'm flying 12000 miles great circle at 260 Euro's with lounge access as gold.

With all the status matching opportunities out there, until what point do you say that miles are worth more than an actual cash discount?

V slightly more relevant, it seems to get 50% in many programs but W & P equally as worthless for mileage running purposes. End of the day though, whether V, W, or P there have been loads of sales under $500 long haul on TK this year. The OP assuming it's any error is just silly.

Error or not, there's a HUGE gap between $500 and 260

BTW... Thanks OP ^
