Hey Mandy007, I'm also trying to do the fast track challenge to ExP, do you have details on how you booked this? Thanks!

Click on "World Traveller" (or whatever you're about to book) and there'll be a popup-window on the website telling you the fare class letter

I wish you Americans would stop being so patronizing of other currencies. Every currency save for those pegged to the US$ or the £ and Euro have declined by the same level against the US$. The US media tends to overstate this vis a vis each country. The SAR has not declined any more than has the C$ or the Aussie$ or the Brazilian Real. These and other currencies are down by the same degree against the US$. This is one of the reasons the Chinese wanted to devalue their currency because their goods are getting more expensive in these countries.

LOL. OP was stating a fact.
Sounds like you Canadians are a little sensitive about the collapse of your loonie.

I was toying around with this flight:

YVR-PHX-DFW-MAD-LHR-JNB-LHR-CDG-DFW-PHX-YVR

(don't look at me like that, it's a legit routing.)

26227 miles, all on BA/AA coded flights, all 100% credit to AA, for 912USD (that's with a stopover in JNB & CDG). 3.5cpm and if you get lucky, you'll even survive it! Didn't end up booking it because I value my sanity a bit more than that... and because my SO doesn't have enough days left to take a long safari vacation

Should be bookable with BA over the phone... there's no way the website can handle it, I tried -.-

Wow! I seemed to read that the transfers were limited to 2 each way, at least departing from IAH. But, that's a great route! I'll have to get even more creative next time.
