Thanks...it's also good on AA/US, but through PHX so you get fewer miles at the same price. I booked two turnarounds for $268 each, leaving LAX @ 2:30 PM, returning LAX @ 9 AM the next day. 6200 EQM each, 4.3cpm.

Will be doing this x2 Nov 6 and 7. Please feel free to reach out if you'll be on these flights and want to say hi or grab a drink at the lounge.

Best

If you're willing to make a bit of a weekend out of it you can do it for $386 for 10,742 routing SAN-LAX-SEA-MSP-ANC and back (3.59 CPM)

Also SFO/SJC-LAX-MSP-ANC-MSP-LAX-SFO/SJC from $369-$378 on 9/26-27, 10/31-11/1, and 11/14-15 (I only checked Sat/Sun thru year-end, might also be available mid-week)

Great find! Will be running the LAX-MSP-ANC-MSP-LAX routing Oct 3. Comes up as 8108 MQMs (not 8080 as in the OP), but for $261.91, it's still 3.2/mile.

I corrected the MQM upwards. I have 2 of these booked. Enjoy!

Just booked another myself. This is one of the best MRs in recent memory. Low cents per mile, but more than that, it can easily be done in less than 24 hours without ruining a Friday or Monday or taking time mid-week (huge benefit). Thanks for sharing!

Seems to work in February as well. However, I don't really know how to avoid going through SEA when using kayak. Some go through MSP on the way back, some go through SLC and SEA on the way to ANC.
When I enter the whole string LAX-MSP-ANC-MSP-LAX in kayak the prices go up. I get the best price when entering LAX-ANC, but then I often don't get them to go through MSP.

Try directly through DL's website. You can easily select only through MSP. They're available for most weekends September through, but you might have a 4hr layover in MSP on the outbound. If you have a weekend in mind, DL's website might have availability where kayak doesn't bring it up.
