This works great for me as I was looking for a summer trip out..what is the closest to lax or sfo this works for?
Looks like you have to return in June / July. If you want to use this as a one way and have the return to use much later does not seem to work.

ORD is the furthest west I found, but didnt look hard, and I found June Depart and return in Sept. for $520ish

Au contraire, the 5-day minimum just means this is an ex-US wrap-around flight with one of BK's ex-Europe deals for two MRs.

Looks like AA has matched out of ORD under $500, with some return DUB to CLT, WAS and ATL for 490ish, return to ORF, LAS, and LAX for 590ish, and return to MVD, GRU, SJO for 880ish

Not just for Summer
I'm finding these low fares out of Charlotte well into Spring 2016. I just booked an April 17 departure for $463 RT. From DUB I can take a cheap EasyJet to FRA, OSL, LHR or many other venues, saving over $800 for a round trip to Europe.
