UA: TYR-HKG, $599 a/i

Another vicious attack by UA on one of AA's biggest and most-profitable hubs!

Enjoy a three-hour turn in HKG, and return home via GUM and HNL.

Sample dates: 03MAY - 04MAY. On united.com. (K)

(Okay, I realize this fare won't appeal to many, but I've never posted an international fare originating in TYR - now I can cross it off my bucket list!)

Great fare, but since when is TYR one of AA's hubs, let alone one of their biggest hubs?

I had to Google to find out where TYR even was, don't think it's ever been a hub for any airline.

Got it priced out at $596:
5/5: TYR-IAH-SFO-HKG
5/6: HKK-GUM-HNL-IAH-TYR
Total 18712 miles (PQMs)

Base fare is $462. Must be a YQ "discount".
Book it while you can!

Go, Tyler(-ians)! This may be the only time you ever make it onto the FlyerTalk boards! Nice work, LRD, on all accounts. ^

That exactly what people in TYR do to find out what HKG is. Ofcourse 90 %+ of them have no passports anyway. TYR is indeed a hub. A hub for Dairy Queen.

If it weren't for Paris and San Francisco, it would be mine, too.
