DL and UA are busy slamming each others hubs. No need for AA to get sucked in this. These fares will likely disappear in a day or so.

Question for those who are in the know
I'm Gold w/ UA; trying to book this for next Jan (should still keep status by then, right?) but UA is trying to charge me for econ plus seats. Whattup?
Also, equipment-wise, what/s the best/recommended routing with this, since HNL-EWR is not eligible for complimentary upgrades?
