Was this just a short mistake earlier this afternoon? I've been looking at this route at this time a lot recently and $170 each way is in the appropriate range. Right now I'm only seeing it as low as $149 each way.

Yes - Alaska does this brief flash sale for only a few hours, most Wednesdays. Not sure how you get notification... ?

Perhaps the most reliable way is to set a reminder for yourself. Then go right to the sale page on the AS website Fast Dash 2 Hour Sale at 11 AM Pacific Time.
