Did the US annex Southern British Columbia yesterday? I guess CNN was too busy reporting other events and I missed this one.

As for this thread, wouldn't this be better broken down and reported as a UA fare to SIN? Since these are on separate tickets, I'm not sure how many readers really want to ride on Scoot down to OOL and you're certainly not getting any *A privileges.
Agreed. A cheap Scoot fare isnt a MR deal (or unusual). If the UA fare is special, then post the UA fare. The only reason to post them together would be if you were suggesting a trick.

Vancouver, B.C.; the OTHER U.S. airport.

Perhaps when Ryanair starts flights to the US, they will fly to Seattle Area (YVR).

Given the tax situation, it's more likely Vancouver Area (BLI/SEA).

Although it used to be the case that it was most often cheaper to fly from SEA vs. YVR, I am finding that most of the time, for international travel, YVR is cheaper. Not sure why, but I have seen this for Mexico, Europe, and Asia, on recent trips.

low-yield market. same reason why ex-cai and ex-cmb j fares are cheap. mexico/carribean should be same price because theyre both leisure markets.

it's only been in the last year that yvr has gotten cheaper fares because of dl's new hub at sea creating competition: meaning flights to asia and europe are cheaper.

south america they will still charge you out of the @ss in both markets.

Its not any kind of travel agency @ISTJ Just play around with different cities and find out. Most seem to be in the 800-900 range just to SIN
