Anyone else having issues getting the right fare codes and prices to come up? Is the deal gone?

Oh yeah, found it all over the ITA, but neither the AAngels or the AA site can find Q fares. N and V is coming up...

Alright, yeah I've checked it over Kayak. It shows up, but AA does not want to book it and errors out. Sorry!

works for me. use google flights and make sure to choose AA as the airline. you MUST choose at least 3 days to get the lowest fare.

Since q fare only earns 50% eqm, any idea how much a fare that earns 100% eqm?

There are 3 ways to qualify for elite status on AA:
1) Miles
2) Points
3) Segments

You are confusing miles and points. Q fares earn 100% EQM but 50% EQP.

All AA metal fares earn 100% EQM, regardless of class.

As jakeryan1 mentioned above, you are probably talking about EQP, where G,Q,N,O,S codes earn 50% EQP. If you want to earn at least 100% EQP, you need to purchase a ticket with a booking code of H,K,M,L,W,V (There's also Full Fare Econ, Bus & First which will earn you 150% EQP).

See the chart on this site for more details: https://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/e...s/american.jsp

I can still find it on google flights, but AA gives me the "flight you selected is no longer available" when I click through.

Aa monitors flyertalk and kills the fare. This happens reliably to Asia. Sometimes you can still book it thru travelocity or cheapoair--- but that disappears in an hour or so, too. Go!

I don't think $800 to BKK is a mistake fare. We've had 1K fares for months, so while a good deal, I don't think it's a mistake.

Of course it's not a mistake and, why would AA need to monitor a thread for fares they publish?
