If those fare codes are right then it should be available even cheaper.

Tried the first link above. While on Kayak, click BA dot com. Just curious to see some additional details. But:

"Sorry

Unfortunately our systems are not responding, so we are unable to process your request at the moment.

We apologise for this inconvenience and suggest you try again later."

Just do an ITA search. It's putting two fares together.

You can even plug in every segment separately on the Kayak multi city tool and it still prices out the same. Same with MEL-LHR or HKG-YYZ retun.

Seems you need a Canadian city (YYZ works for sure - didn't check YUL, YOW, YQB, or YHZ) and an East Coast US city to not raise the fare.

Much higher out of YYC or YVR. About $250 higher using Central time zone US cities.

I'm looking at this from the Alaska MP perspective. Anyone with AS experience know if I could credit the Qantas flights, even though they are BA "marketed"? With the following itinerary, I'd only need the one way from YYC to Boston to make it work...

40 hours back to Canada? NO THANKS! Does that fare come with a chiropractor? I would love to read the trip report.

A stopover should be allowed in LHR both ways but then you have to add the UK APD. Like I said earlier this is two fares (BOS-LHR & LHR-MEL) sold as end on end.

BOS-LHR-HND-SIN-MEL-HKG-LHR-YYZ (O/M/M/M/O/O/O) 30,090 miles. Same price.

Seems LHR-MEL (exactly 13,000 via above route) all M no matter what. So 13,000+17,090/2=21,545 AA EQP'S with above routing.

60,180 RDM if already platinum (2.318 cpm).

Via HND both ways about 32,790 but about $100 more.

Returns to DFW can be had with hidden city ticketed returns to YYC or YVR for about $1,450 ai as well.

Out of BOS & back to YYC via DFW 35,190 about $1,450 too (2.09 cpm).
