BA: Great US/Hawaii fares ex-IST. 35000miles for £540

Just booked:

IST-LHR-SFO/SFO-LAX-HNL/KOA-LAX-LHR in Y for £540 = $868

Scores 170 BA Tier Points & 35000 Avios (including Gold BAEC bonus) = 17738 actual miles

ie 2.5c/Avios or 4.8/mile

This strikes me as a completely useless post.

Because none of us live in Lrague or Istanbul, etc?

You're right... Only 1,257 million people leave in PRG and 14,6 million people in IST

No, I mean posting here to say that a find is good but not as good as a find on a different route in a different timeframe is redundant and doesn't exactly encourage people to post.

Oh, I forgot to mention - couldn't see this fare on BA.com, AA.com or even ITA or Kayak. Got it from Expedia, which for some reason was significantly cheaper.

... and I don't live in IST either, but can get there for 10K Avios + £17 courtesy of BA. As it happens I'm going there for a conference first anyway, but even otherwise it'd be worth it as a positioning flight.

This is a very good price for Y to Hawaii!^

My distant family would want to join me on my holiday to LIH, but they do not wish to travel J/F so is there any current Y sale ex-EU to LIH/HNL?

Most grateful remains,

OP, I think the title of this thread is misleading. You should mention actual flight miles one may receive instead of including bonus due to status.
