Works (and fares even cheaper) on the Big O. LAX came up $293 for the OP's dates... Outbound Jan 14, Return Jan 28.

As I posted in the econ deals thread...I grabbed this fare OSL - JFK - MAN for $288.

All ticketed fine and shows in MMB on BA & VS. Booked through lastminute.com
