Thanks to OP for posting separately. Some of the most rewarding destinations have been off-the-grid on the earn/burn game, or maybe, in the case of MEX-IPC, at reduced earning in a program/alliance where I don't have status.

Still, some of my most memorable trips have happened that way, so I always appreciate these kinds of posts (i.e. unusual pricing breakdowns for hard-to-reach spots, even with minimal mileage angles).
