It appears a 5 night minimum is required.

TRANSPACIFIC SECTOR.

Minimum stay requirements
TRAVEL FROM INBOUND TRANSPACIFIC SECTOR MUST COMMENCE NO
EARLIER THAN 6 DAYS AFTER DEPARTURE OF THE OUTBOUND
TRANSPACIFIC SECTOR.

Maximum stay requirements
TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO LATER THAN 3
MONTHS AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FARE ORIGIN.

OK, I know this isn't totally germane to this particular thread, but might be of some interest or previously mentioned somewhere. The business class fares on DL from YVR to HKG and some other Asian destinations are about 1/2 of those beginning in SEA. The coach fares usually better as well. Probably a result of the new "soft" hub in SEA.
Its a no brainer to get from SEA to YVR

$524 DL YVR-SEA-PVG-SEA-YVR lots of dates in november on its. 6 day min stay.

I went directly to DL's website. The dates I saw were five days trips leaving either the 30th or 31st of October. I didn't check any other dates.

I just took a sample date from ITA of departing YVR on Nov 1st and depart PVG on Nov 7th. Rang through at $579.11 CAD on the Delta site.
