Good fare to Scandanavia!

Using this, it's pricing ex-IAH for $750 for weekend turns out into January. If I do this then, and combine with the HNL-MNL DO at the end of January, I'd go from commoner to MP Silver in <45 days. At 7.3 cpm it's not an awesome deal, but to get status back and RDMs before the change, could be worth it. Also, never been to Oslo.

I actually found some $400 deals OSL-EWR (~2500NOK), for February next year. Which would make about 3.6 cent per mile.

SAS just had a deal from SFO to Scandinavia for 3500NOK (which is roughly 567 USD).

And a good plan to file for bankruptcy when returning home... You may seriously consider a $100 per day budget excluding hotel and then you still won't be doing anything special.

Booked! Nov 28-dec 7. Anyone thinks United would ever offer such low fares if it wasn't for competition from Norwegian Long Haul? You can do the same trip (from JFK-OSL) for USD 440 in a B787... ;)

Well, with the Norwegian 787 you know that you should expect a significant delay because Bjørn really doesn't have his long haul operations established in proper routines yet. So at least with United's on time record... um... no... wait...
