I have seen this work to with ICN/ PEK too.

One of the challenges I found with doing it as a pure or quick turn MR is closing the open jaw with either a O/W award ticket or cash killed the value for me.

Pretty decent deal if you have plans to visit ICN or TYO or need ~10,500EQM in one shot. SFO-ICN/HND-SFO comes out to 6.29cpm, which is a little high if you consider you have to get from Seoul to Tokyo on your own.

FWIW, you can go SFO-NRT-ICN on 10/27 for $697 ai, which also comes to 6.29cpm and nets you ~400 more EQM.

Not to sure on the sun-thurs restriction as 11/1 is a saturday...
