Seems a bit expensive. I paid $150 last fall for that same ticket. Still a great fare when factoring how much EZE is from the US. A cheap flight to MEX and you got a hell of a deal.

I agree, they should lower it for us, or give use the MX price from 5 years ago of DFW-EXE for $186.

I am just irritated that the DFW-MEX/MEX-DFW leg is ~$600 which makes it a no go for me.

Last fall was MEX-SCL-EZE-SCL-MEX, this is a non-stop MEX-EZE-MEX.

That's what I was looking at. My points are on AA and Amex, I have been waiting since 2012 for a 50% bonus to roll around again for Avios. I would have booked this already if I had the Avios, I just don't like booking bits at a time.

Drive to SAT and take SWA or that Mexican low cost airline. Or rent a car drive to SAT book AA then on the return miss your connection in DFW to SAT.

Thanks to OP for posting.

Looks like V class, which would get 100% RDMs + elite bonuses on DL. Am looking for something mile-piggy that could also be a nice trip for cashing in FP Visa credits before DL ruins its program next year. A last hurrah for building miles before dumping 'em.

Spirit can do ATL-TLC-ATL at $290, or I s'pose u could take DL SAT-ATL-MEX-ATL-SCL and drop off the last leg for about the same, though that'd require a one-way conveyance to SAT. Or an award, though they want too many miles for that.

^^^ to AM for hanging in there and trying to fill the planes even if demand is soft out of MEX. Seems like there are real discounts to be had in a number of regions in the world, but certainly not the U.S. lately.

Bariloche is there for $469 rt, with the domestic Argentinian leg on Aerolineas (and the EZE to AEP airport change).

Not as great as the $98 USD ticket to SCL for my upcoming trip to SCL for 4th of July but good price for my Mexico-based family. Booked a couple for parents and cousins.

not a lot of award flights for positioning NYC-MEX for my dates but I was able to find that revenue fares JFK-MEX-EZE for $766 in August 5.43 cpm

I am also seeing JFK-MEX-EZE-Bariloche for $872 or Iguazu for $832 (pretty much any AR metal flights).

The Argentina legs book into AR T class which only gets 50% for DL.

Not amazing as mileage runs but great deals when compared to what else is out there now.

FYI: You can do SAT - EZE for $494 - Aug 21 - Aug 31.
Worth the I-10 West drive from Houston. IAH prices it for $709.
