This one has been kicking around for a week. I saw it last Thursday when I book EWR-OSL. Here are the fare rules:

PERMITTED 20FEB 14 THROUGH 27MAR 14 OR 26OCT 14 THROUGH
11DEC 14 OR 24DEC 14 THROUGH 26MAR 15 ON THE OUTBOUND
TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.

Unless something happens to bust Norwegian, best guess is this won't be the last opportunity to MR to Scandinavia.

I hope you're right! I've been dying to take the kids to CPH, but it just hasn't been possible to make it work around our other overseas trips to visit family. For me it wouldn't even be an MR, really (I wouldn't mind the low mileage accrual for the class). It would just be a chance to take a trip I've been wanting to do anyway

K class earns 50% on AP but 100% on MP.

Beware collecting miles to United, these are this months rules.

K fare earn 25% Flights within Canada and between Canada and the U.S., Central America, Mexico or the Caribbean
and for now 100% on international, however AC will retroactively change rules so you get no miles.

Question

flybit, I looked at the chart, and I am not clear what the "change" is viz-a-viz Air Canada metal? It appears to me that AC offers 50 % credit on miles flown, based on K class fare. What do you mean by "retroactively change" the rules? Source?

I booked this last night as EWR-BRU-CPH-ARN-EWR for ~$480 on 11/5 to 11/10. It was about $35 dollars more expensive than the cheapest option but I wanted to work in a long layover (7 hours) in BRU to go see a brewery and on the return wanted to go to ARN to add another airport to the last and get home a little earlier in the day. Only the BRU-CPH segment on SN doesn't earn miles, the CPH-ARN SK earns 100%. Works out to $.06 per mile, and a little lower since I used my UA CC.

Where did you book this? I just tried it on Matrix and it is quoting me $1000 plus. Thanks!
