The below is from our moderator (taken from the first post of the thread - bolding is mine). Feel free to add more if necessary / as needed.

Happy 2014!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

-members posting their deals please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices (ETA: ...or in email alerts)

-some members may be unaware that you can subscribe to this thread and to do that you can go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".

With the double-miles promo at http://www.alaskaair.com/www2/Promo/...C||&pid=AS1403 this comes down to 4.7cpm.

Additionally, there is a $50 coupon offer for new Mileage Plan members residing in Utah. Info is at http://www.alaskaair.com/content/dea...less-utah.aspx which could potentially bring your first flight down to 2.7cpm!
Also, $25 coupon for new members residing in California: http://www.alaskaair.com/content/dea...d-less-ca.aspx

Only half the discount, but statistically applicable to 15x more people

i didn't check the fare rules this time, but it's often possible to route this via LAX or SFO, which would make it quite nice for earning.

Interesting to see what will happen.... So is the AS flight on a mainline or Horizon flight?

Similar pricing from DFW, including other UK destinations, on Star.

Lowest fare I found is DFW-EDI for mid-August for $872 on airfare.com for AC. Booking a single carrier itin, such as UA metal, starts at $905. Add about $25 more for open jaws with other destinations, such as LHR.

Great fare for travel through mid-June, starting again mid-August.

Gah it would be so nice if this worked the other way round - exactly what I'm missing for A3 gold

S4 (SATA): BOS-PDL $310 RT AI. About the cheapest I've seen this route get. Valid for Sunday departures and returns in November. $393 for other days of week, or December Sunday departures. If I weren't already heading to mainland Portugal next month, I'd probably book one for myself. Miles can only be credited to S4's program or TP's program. Boa viagem!

Great fare, wish I could fly it. When I saw this first thing in the morning I thought it was to Praia and almost lept out of my seat. Thanks for posting.

BOS-PEK $806 ai non-stop on HU September 2014 - Mid December 2014

Definitely not MR material but you can get a $806 roundtrip on Hainan from BOS starting in September. No word on whether AA is codesharing on this yet so it looks like only earning in HU's program.

. If China is on your bucket list then this may be the time to do it. It also only operates 4 weekly (1356). Some dates have lost the lowest fare codes

You can play around with tours that stat in PEK and end it PVG/SHA (use SHA for HU) and get a flight for under $850.
