Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

Hey I was looking at DFW-JNB, NBO or DOH in February. BA had $250 fares + taxes/fees for about $925 to each of those. I went online tonight and the fares jumped to $850 + taxes/fees... Anyone know what gives on that? It doesnt seem to be just DFW, but all of the nation the base fares have jumped 2-3x on BA today

Not as good as the other HKG deals but
AA: BOS-HKG via DFW is $900 4.6CPM and only requires a 1 night stay for many days in February and March.
AC/UA/DL seem to have some slightly lower fares but this credits 100% to AS/AA with no need to worry about minimum spend.

Yeah, there is something called "premium" for which the deal does work ($1050 or 7862 krona vs. $1287 for Feb. 5-10) but it doesn't seem to be the equivalent of business class on other airlines.

Stumbled across this - not a mr as 2 week or so stay.
May be possible to do this on other dates/shorter stays.
It was an unusually good fare from MSY.

Delta seems to be attacking AA's fares from PHX to Florida with $188 RT's to TPA, MCO, FLL and MIA for various dates in Jan, Feb and Mar. Same day turns are available usually with a red-eye although some without.

Anyone know of a good deal for AA this month? I need to fly 1200 miles EQM. Does anyone have a cheap flight I can take during the weekdays? SJC preferably, but SFO or OAK if needed.

Best option is going to be google flights, put in SJC as your "from" airport, view the map and pick the days that work. Then you will be able to see the price for all the cities. Distance wise, SJC-SEA is about 1400 miles roundtrip...I'm not an expert of how Alaskan credits to AA, but that could be an option.
