AA: JFK-SFO $224 RT 4.3cpm Nov2-Nov4/5

AA has JFK-SFO for $224 roundtrip, 5172 miles, 4.3cpm
dates seems to be limited to Nov 2 outbound, and Nov 4/5 return
may throw in LAX or DFW for $11 extra each way to increase mileage
(nevermind, actually it doesn't improve cpm even if you count 500 elite minimum)

Booked HPN-ORD-SFO-ORD-HPN for about 100.00 more and no hotel required.
Departing Nov 5 and returning the (depart nite of the 5th) 6th. 5168 miles according to mile calc.CPM's are higher BUT if you live in the counties north of NYC, you save 15.00 on tolls and at least 50.00 in parking not to mention the many hours of additional travel time required and no hotel fees. Fair disclosure: also doing this MR to go to one of my favorite SF restaurants during the long layover.
