booked it
So, this is my first mileage run and gets me within 5,200 MQM of Gold for this year. Not a fantastic CPM but, considering the reposition from MSP, it works.
Thanks for posting it! MSP - MCI - ATL - SEA - ATL - MCI - MSP $306 and 6748 MQM at 4.5CPM |
Another MR virgin, this pushes me about 200 miles over gold if I include my other booked travel for work.
For $200 and change to get re-qualify Gold is well worth it IMHO. |
Nice find!
Anyone willing to give up a few miles and connect somewhere like DTW instead of just ATL, to expand the number of available days to make this run, enter "~SLC,MSP" as your routing code in ITA (without the quote marks). That will exclude connections in both Salt Lake and Minneapolis which really kill the CPM, but still includes ATL and other distant hubs/routes. Connecting in DTW one way and ATL the other is 4.05¢ per CPM at the $220 fare. |

Thanks
Just booked the opposite way for me and my wife for Nov 16-17 weekend MR. SEA-ATL-MCI-ATL-SEA. Will be spending the night in MCI though, so will need to find a place to stay and something to do :)

route through LAX
Also found a promo.... DL is giving double miles for SEA-LAX, so I routed my return through LAX. Lose a few MQM but get more overall miles. Plus LAX-MCI seems to always be empty with upgrades available.
