I was able to build a multi city itinerary on UA based on the BOS-SJC thing on January 11, booking DFW-BOS-IAH-SJC-LAX-EWR-BOS-ORD-DFW. I think it is just over 10,000 miles (with 500 minimums) at $383. I have an overnight in BOS,a long stop in SJC - then a redeye - flying home on the 14th. All but the SJC-LAX on mainline!

Stuck this in the economy - good deals thread last week, but you can get this on DL for under four CPM. On 11/6, you can route BOS-MSP-LAX-SJC-ATL-DTW-BOS with a zero-day turnaround for $255.40, which is 3.93 cpm with the 500-mile minimum on LAX-SJC.
