I used this same fare in February to go to TLV for one week and was able to do everything in 7 days. If you have 10 days you may want to take a side trip to Petra Jordan which I did 2 years ago and it is now one of the new wonder of the world .

It's on the DL website. Some sample dates I just checked:

Jan 11 - Jan 15
February 7 -Feb 9
March 6 - March 9
March 6 - March 12

There are also longer periods you can stay, but if someone wants to make this true mileage run, they can depart ORD on a Friday, arrive TLV on Saturday at 2:40 PM and depart Sunday at 12:40 AM with a 10 hour layover in TLV.

The same fare is available from WAS, though obviously less mileage. I booked this for February a little while ago.

Make copies of all your bookings and expect extra security. Not sure it's the best place for MRs... and this is from a guy who has done Colombia / Peru MRs!! hehe

Funny, you can add on a flight DEN-LAX at the end for no additional cost.

The same base fare is available out of LAX but with a little more YQ. $713 AI on AC via YYZ; $719 on UA via EWR. Not much more on AF, KL, SN, TK.

These cheap TLV fares have been around awhile (sorta like the IST/BAH/DXB deals) so I have to believe that the powers that be in TLV are seeing their fair share of MRers passing through and should be getting use to it by now...

Quite an amazing fare - wonder whether anyone has found a good FD for that fare...
