Now if I can just find a repositioning flight to LGA! Initiall attempt MSP-LGA RT was almost $500. Laughable considering the MR is only 387!

Best routing I found was anc-pdx-sea-lax-jfk, with lax-JFK operated by DL. Bookable on Alaska's website.

BOS-ANC on DL available for the same price.

I've tried to find same via SFO and MSP and best I saw was ~$600, about the same cpm but it's gone

UA offering similar most weekends in Sept.

Sample $360 sat 9/21 return sun 9/22. LGA-IAH-SEA-ANC. Return ANC-ORD-LGA for 8297 miles. 4.3cpm. Might be able to find better routing on return

LGA-IAH-ORD-ANC-DEN-LGA gets a few more at 9212 miles for $360 same day turn on UA. October 5 works well. And it's a Saturday.

Land ANC 6:51 pm and depart same day at 11:25 pm. Just enough time for a burger and beer?

I was even able to use my Citi TY to get the price down to ~$320 but decided not to pull the trigger. UA Silver isn't worth $320 to me.

Still bookable on DL.dumb with several dates available in Sept/Oct lots of weekend availability no hotel stay required. All DL metal and as low as $364 ai for some dates

Just booked for 10/5-6: LGA-MSP-SLC-ANC-MSP-JFK, 7682 mqm @ $364 is 4.74 cpm

Booked JFK-DTW-MSP-ANC-SEA-JFK 9/28 to 9/30. I figure if I'm going to start in LHR and travel all that way, I may as well take a day or so to SEE something!! :)

AA is offering LGA-XXX-ANC for $404

I thought about taking a day to see something in ANC but then I figured why bother..

Good news is that of my 5 flights, 3 of them are 752s with 24 F seats so UG chances are strong. My First visit to AK so that's exciting too!

Things look decent for my flights as well on the outbound. Return is AS ANC-SEA, so no expectation of an UG there. SEA-JFK will likely be a BFUG if it happens, but I'm okay with 19C in EC on the 75E.

I'm only seeing a $635 flight from MSP-ANC. Wouldn't it be cheaper coming out of MSP since this is a layover stop?
