MR deals are standardly posted as round-trips (which these are). The OP's quote ("-FOR ONE WAY FARES") is lifted directly from the airline's Fare Rules for the ticket. It tells us that the round trip is made up of two one-way fares.

Very surprised that this deal has lasted for the entire weekend. The availability has not changed much and is still pretty good on Sunday night.
For people on east coast, you can do AAA-ORD-SJU --> LAX; LAX-->SJU-->LAX; LAX-->SJU-ORD-AAA. That is, three different PNRs. The downside is that the connection time is about 30 min at LAX between PNRs. The overall cpm is up to 3.5 cpm, which is not too bad.
