That's what it was meant to be. A quick one day trip or same day return. Nothing like a mileage run I just posted it here because its most applicable.

A general guideline for topics:
Good in Mileage Run Deals:
1) Airfare deals that offer uniquely high value in terms of either miles/points to $$ or expedited status
2) Discussion within the individual threads of ways to benefit from the deal
3) The threads are not to be used for meta-discussion of general mileage run issues

You should post this in the Good Deals thread then possibly. MR Deals is for fares that have a high value; this is just a regular fare.

He11 No, this isn't even good for that
AA has $258 T/W/Sa and I didn't even find that as MR worthy
this is a lousy fare for this forum
Unless its in F.. is it?

Ya know, I actually have to assign more value to same day turns like these.
If you have to spend an extra $20.00 on airport parking or $80 on a hotel overnight (or 20,000 HHonors points), that - at least in my mind - detracts from the CPM value that is automatically assessed. But to each his own.

No matter what, most of us have to consider parking, tolls, maybe lodging.
Some don't though, some find ways around that stuff but in the end apples to apples is the a/i cost of the flight and then breaking it down to cpm

Some of us find free parking, use mass transit, pack a meal, sleep in the airport, shower at the gym, etc. to get around certain expenses
