UA IAD-LAX nonstop $313 ai
Tried on April 27th (Saturday) and there were plenty of e+ seats left and upgrade space. Day trip come back on same day leave IAD at 8:20 (753) come back into IAD at 9pm (320). 1 hr 30 min layover. ;)

Yeah, I accidentally get a better CPU than this on many of my transcons.

this is bad for a pure mileage run, but for a quick 1 night visit to LA, not bad at all

That's what it was meant to be. A quick one day trip or same day return. Nothing like a mileage run I just posted it here because its most applicable.

Ya know, I actually have to assign more value to same day turns like these.
If you have to spend an extra $20.00 on airport parking or $80 on a hotel overnight (or 20,000 HHonors points), that - at least in my mind - detracts from the CPM value that is automatically assessed. But to each his own. |
