UA: IAH-TLV $692 ai RT (May 2013; 4.8cpm)
Half the dates in May per ITA Matrix are $700. Most with departures of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Looks good, I am seeing $700 for fri/sat departures. Seems to be $725-$728 330 days out on Air Canada and Turkish Airlines.

Think the OP means 4.8 cents per mile... .48 cents per mile (less than half a penny/mile) would be a LOT of miles for $700... to the tune of 145,000+ miles. And I'd take a few days off work to make those flight(s).

UA: IAH to TLV $692/ .48 cents per mile in May/2013
ORD to TLV is also $ 695 on UA in April and may.

Are people actually seeing UA availability for May at $700? I am seeing tons of TK flights, which don't earn UA miles.

Ahh, seems there is a min-stay requirement.

Wow 0.48 cpm - that is cheap.

But, I think you mean 4.8 cpm or $0.048 per mile

No earning with TK G fares if crediting to UA - if crediting to TK than yes.

Inventory looked a little hit or miss, but I was able to book a 100% earning ticket for the US thanksgiving holiday at $732. And that includes the $7 "penalty" for my all-mainline routing and skipping the IAH-YYZ ERJ.
What I have looks like:
Wed Nov 27 IAH-ORD-YYZ-TLV
Tues Dec 3 TLV-EWR-IAH
Shorter trips and more adventurous transits were available, albeit in LH-group K or TK's G class (ie, 0% UA earn).
Outbound is on AC stock in K, return is UA.

Likewise, with all of that said, dates in May are certainly the best, but check some other months for similar fares that are at least respectable.
