  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Turkish Airlines promo from Birmingham UK to various long haul destinations:

The fares have been loaded but availability is variable - from "profuse" to "scant" depending on the route. This looks like it may be a free upgrade from their premium economy product and doesn't seem to be available from London. Haven't checked their other UK departures yet.

Top fares - and not available for MAN/LHR/LGW/EDI (where else do they go?!!).

Books into J. The problem you may have with availability is there is only 1 x IST-BHX-IST flight a day, and it doesn't connect with many flights on the return. The TK system does not like showing next day connections (i.e. 20 hours, but with an overnight) - so try breaking your return flight down into multi leg return i.e. 13 Feb BKK-IST 14 Feb IST-BHX and you should get better availability

They actually fly 10x a week now, so if you pick it right then the connections for Asia are pretty good.

When you say it books into J, do you mean the J fare bucket?

Just a shame the one route I was vaguely interested in only had availability 1 day in three months.

Thanks! Came in handy for a last-minute (non-essential) trip

…probably for less than flying Y around the year-end holidays!

The ex-TIJ ands ex-MEX deal on Lan to IPC is still around, although you have to go out a few months to really find much availability.
For AA elite it's a bit over 32k rdms which more or less pays for a positioning flight. Thinking of doing this via a SAN border crossing. All in price is $1482 and allows stops in SCL and LIM, maybe more w creativity.

I hate to be one of those Fare Gone people, especially in my greenness.

I was checking it out last night, but now not getting it. I guess you snooze you loose.

DUB-MCO is pricing at around Ł1050 on American metal, Finnair website.

You can book directly with AA for a few Ł more for a more circuitous routing if you're chasing BA TPs.

Some nice looking routes, too. I managed to get 520TPs at that price with some fancy routing.

His post was EK first on a 380 for one person. Yours was J and was per person, so it was actually double that price. Oh, and it was mentioned earlier.
