  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Unfortunately, they appear dead. The new sale is only on DL & from 11/1/13 - 12/12/13, but it's gone down to $1670. EF shows it also available until 3/20/13, but I didn't see anything price out with the fare.

Flight numbers are: AA3294/AA80/AY840 and returning on 4/28 HEL-LHR AY then all the way with AA LHR-DFW-SPS flight numbers AY832/AA81/AA3397

Ticket price was $1989.97 in business (I). Only the flight to SPS is Y (doesnt offer business).
I booked around 10 minutes ago. I am trying to apply couple upgrades.

I dont know if this fare will last or it may be a glitch.
ITA doesn't admit to a fare lower than $4686, r/t or multi-city. You got the half-price special.

Just to confirm, these are all minimum 10 day stays, right?

Does this book into J cabin on SA as well, or just the AC legs?

Edited to add: Never mind. Never having used the AC website, I didn't realize that the price listed on the first screen was for the outbound only. Total price is a bit over USD $4,300. And the LHR/JNB segments are in Y. Back to the drawing boards....
oh yes, BOS works just fine

booked BOS-BLR-BOS for $2890 today for early April travel. Amazing fare with a 748i FRA-BLR ^

Booked into S, which may become Z before the trip due to SkyTeam fare harmonization.

$1498 / 14,792 MQM/EQM = 10.1 cpm.

Now that's a deal.

BOS and ORD were about the same price. I also checked June departures and they were about $300 more. Still a great deal
You can do better on an MPM fare

Not sure how it qualifies on the "good deal" spectrum, but AC seems to have some pretty reasonably priced J fares to South Africa out right now. YYZ to JNB via LHR/FRA/MUC ~C$2550ai, YVR ~C$3k, a little more to JNB. Must be flown by 4/30

This is *A matching the AF offer which I posted a few pages back. Sometimes *A matches the AF offers, sometimes not. 14 day advance purchase, book by 28 Feb. Check carrier to ensure that it books into Z and not P for mileage earning.

Similar fares to India.

Only marginally so, as far as I can tell. Adding stops seems to add $50 per pop. Best I saw was MIA-DTW-ATL-MAD-ATL-DTW-MIA which worked out to 9.7cpm. Not worth the extra effort imho.

If there are bigger savings than that, I'd love to know, but I don't see them.

Thanks for that ChicagoDave might look at another trip in Nov/Dec. Shame was a great fare when you think of the amount of tax for J fares out of LHR.

OK. So in the last 4 hours, the <$1500 MIA-MAD deal is now dead.

The June and later deals for $1800+ seem to still be active.

Where are you finding these great AC J fares to JNB (i.e., which website)? I'm looking to depart on the outbound on March 31, verrry flexible on the return (if you catch my drift). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
