  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Was hoping to see your fare on UA. But found LAX-ATL-MAD-ATL-MAD on DL for $1800 (14 cpm) on ITA. Several dates in Aug.

Can even be had for $1600 (12.5 cpm) for several dates in Sept. Both book into A for domestic leg, and S for TATL leg.
Wow, you're right. I found LAX-JFK-MAD-ATL-LAX on DL for $1537 for some dates in Sept. With the Business Class bonus, that actually works out to 8.3 cpm.

Did you try to book it on UA using the multiple destinations option??

That is what I did. Just added the segments one at a time from my ITA search. Matched the fare and everything.

I think it is a nice deal.
This is RJ ISPLES, begin on/before 31 Mar 13, 2d/12mo stay. No stops (not even AMM). Available Sundays only.

Interesting rule:
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON RJ.
THERE IS NO FUEL SURCHARGE.
OTHERWISE
A FUEL SURCHARGE OF USD 168.00 PER DIRECTION WILL BE
ADDED TO THE APPLICABLE FARE.

ITA includes these surcharges in the breakdown:
(YQ) €6.18
(YR) €313.00
(YQ) €7.50
I don't know what YR is - AA uses them all the time in TATLs where it is exactly the same amount as BA's YQ, so it's a NotAFuelSurcharge surcharge. Nice wool-pulling, guys. We're so grateful to have an airline that doesn't apply those nasty fuel surcharges.

RJ's base fare on this route is €999; not including the YQs and YR, other charges add up to about €50. Total fare including them is €1,375.47; next cheapest is EgyptAir at €1704, then Emirates at €2169, so it's a bargain if you can use it.

*A is matching the AF fare I posted earlier; thread on the AC forum about this. Be careful to book the right carrier/site for the best earning fare class Z vs P.

Depart 22Feb-30Apr, 14 day adv, stay 3d/12mo. Not too bad for a long ride, tho I know nothing about biz on the airlines involved. Some KLM/DL fares around $3k, but the OW folks will be lucky to find $7K
Was available for USD $2,111 in AC website just now ex-BOS. Doesn't come up on Kayak at all.

Does this book into J cabin on SA as well, or just the AC legs?

Edited to add: Never mind. Never having used the AC website, I didn't realize that the price listed on the first screen was for the outbound only. Total price is a bit over USD $4,300. And the LHR/JNB segments are in Y. Back to the drawing boards....

MS "J" BUD-BKK/KUL r/t €748 + taxes = €1000 total

Good deal, terrible airline, but comfortable seats (CAI-Asia-CAI) on par with LH/SK/KL/TG etc.

Are these DL fares still live? The best I've found is $2.2k even with the 10 day min

Good price, but don't forget there is the E170 on BUD-CAI with 2-2 , same as economy seating. For a 4 hours flight this is a real torture.

Probably the worst travel experience beside LH NEK on the A321 to CAI

UPDATE: Found it via ITA. LAX-EWR-MAD-EWR-LAX, $2072 all-in. 17cpm RDM, 12 cpm EQM. All on UA-metal. Not bad considering they're asking for $1100-$1300 in Y, and that the same fare ex-SFO is ~$2500.

Alright, will give it a whirl. A bit tedious, but well worth it if I can manage to price & ticket it.

I saw LAX-FRA-MAD-FRA-LAX on ITA in May and June on LH metal. Isn't the LAX_FRA route on the 74H with the new J seats?

I just booked this morning a quick weekend trip in business with AA fro DFW to HEL for April 25-28. I am flying from SPS-DFW-LHR on AA metal and from LHR-HEL Finnair on 4/25
Flight numbers are: AA3294/AA80/AY840 and returning on 4/28 HEL-LHR AY then all the way with AA LHR-DFW-SPS flight numbers AY832/AA81/AA3397

Ticket price was $1989.97 in business (I). Only the flight to SPS is Y (doesnt offer business).
I booked around 10 minutes ago. I am trying to apply couple upgrades.

I dont know if this fare will last or it may be a glitch.
