  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Phenomenal price. QR are a decent airline, too.

I'm going to look into this, see if I can price stopovers, etc.

I went in thinking (expecting) this too.

However, these seats are much, much better than U.S.-style first. And the attention paid to each passenger in that tiny cabin is phenomenal.

AA: HND-JFK 255,000 JPY RT AI; books in I

A very good deal ex-Japan on AA's daily flight to NYC, probably due to the terrible timing and poor loads. Outbound allowed Monday-Friday and inbound allowed Sunday-Thursday. Must ticket 28 days before departure. No changes permitted; refunds for 50,000 JPY.

Finally some ex-Japan fares ^ LAX must be cheap too with the over capacity on that route, or is that only in Y...

Here's another, then! Not great by US or EU standards perhaps but for Japan on a highly-rated *A carrier this is pretty good.

OZ: TYO-SEL-LHR/CDG/IST 286,000-317,000 JPY RT AI (books into U)

Stopovers in SEL permitted both ways. Must travel outbound to Seoul between 13MAY13 and 30SEP13; maximum stay is 1 month. Must ticket at least 14 days prior to travel. No changes allowed; cancellation allowed for 20,000 JPY. This is a SITI fare so you'll need to book with a Japanese travel agent (e.g. Expedia.co.jp). The LHR route is planned to be operated with OZ's staggered business product.

Real fab fare ! Just booked BCN-MEL vv. for my in-laws in January. Great product and new Doha airport (hopefully... ).

Second best to those amazing EK F/C companion fares ex ATH a few years ago.

NRT is becoming one of the routes with overcapacity thus fares are also dropping even ex-JPN.

LOTS of cheap flights out of CAI to many different locations. Fiddle with that departure point and you'll have some fun. I have a one way in C on QR this fall CAI-DOH-LHR-PHL for $1250, and you can get it for about $1125 for the same routing to JFK.
