  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Seems to be bookable on Orbitz US site. Many days in Nov.
I checked Nov. 12-26 for a two week Spring trip to Chile.

It looks like LAN is working the Mexico market and the sales are good.
Isn't that double the price of the fare CokeandTaco quoted just above you?

Where in TJ would one buy this?

Orbitz seems to be selling this for $1500 and ITA shows $1169.

I just came from Easter Island couple weeks ago but would go there again if I could get 15K+ EQM all in LAN J with 2 787 flight thrown in

I managed to get it to route quite readily via JFK to get to LAS then MIA to get to GCM.

Stopovers appear to be 1 free each way.

Fare is c. 1100 if you go via JFK & MIA, add another 200 for the diversion out & back via LAS

Book by June 7th I think.

I class on the overwater flights, A class on the domestics.

I posted a link to a screengrab in the BA forum thread on this (anyone interested in a treasure hunt)

Cheers
Fare also available from DUB to a number of other Carribean destinations such as Barbados, Curaao or St Lucia. Vegas detour radically changed pricing in my case and no stopover allowed but stop of under 24hrs in various east, Midwest and east central cities.

Anyone has a suggestion for a Mexico based agent/agency?

Do the far rules limit the POS? Perhaps that's why these are not pricing.

Most restaurants/bars in Tijauna will have wi-fi. Just go to the expedia mexico site with your tablet. Or go to a local travel agent. They will probably charge you M$300 or so as a service fee.

Thanks all for the suggestions and especially to CokeandTaco for this great post.

I was able to purchase from the comfort of my home in SoCal using American CC ... Got it for extended 4th of July weekend. So far all looks good, the CC was charged and LAN shows a confirmed res. came out to approx $1,100 pp in J which is amazing. Should be fun doing a trip from TJ

I was on EI just few short weeks back but this fare was just too irresistible to pass on, especially being in a big need of EQMs.

Thanks again to all for great suggestions.

I did Jul 3-Jul 7, but many other dates available as well.

May do another in October if the fare is around for a while

I started hitting a bunch of random places in Mexico and there are decent LAN fares to IPC originating in cities beyond just TIJ. I found MEX at about the same as the TIJ fare and La Paz for a bit more, but still very good in the $1.5k range. I also see some with segments on the 787 between SCL and LIM.
