  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

I found similar routing but the problem is that this only generates: DUB-LHR (40 TPs), LHR-ORD (140 TPs), ORD-DFW (60 TPs), DFW-MIA (60 TPs) and MIA-GCM (40 TPs) so 680 TPs return.

Swiss Tony indicated he could do 1200 TPs for Ł1350 DUB-GCM.

Now if you could do routing DUB-JFK-LAX-MIA-GCM return then that would bring it to 1200 TPs - I'm checking now.

So I think I have worked this out now: DUB-JFK-LAS-MIA-KIN and back for Ł1,358.80 which would net 1200TPs. Now that's a good deal.

Anc-lim $1963 ai anc-la paz & anc-uio $1900

the LIMA, Peru fare on United is not on Copa, it is through Houston on the BusinessFirst configured 767. Aprrox 19,000 EQM.

It seems to be a 7 day minimum stay but less than 7 days is still only about $2,100.

The ANC-LA PAZ and ANC-Quito for approaching $1900AI on AA and DL, respectively. Priced these in Sept and October. Maybe others can tell us how to get creative on the routing. I found DL through SLC and ATL to Quito for $1867.

A few answers before my battery goes flat....

I managed to get it to route quite readily via JFK to get to LAS then MIA to get to GCM.

Stopovers appear to be 1 free each way.

Fare is c. Ł1100 if you go via JFK & MIA, add another Ł200 for the diversion out & back via LAS

Book by June 7th I think.

I class on the overwater flights, A class on the domestics.

I posted a link to a screengrab in the BA forum thread on this (anyone interested in a treasure hunt)

Cheers

Noooooo. I've been looking at this fare for awhile trying to rationalize crossing the border to TIJ.

Looks like you'd have to cross twice - once to book, and then to fly.

I know there's a public bus that goes to TIJ, and IIRC there used to be, maybe still is, a bus from US directly to TIJ.

True, and I have read that AM runs a bus from SAN to TIJ but haven't looked into it. I could also take the trolley to the border and cab over to TIJ.

At the risk of going OT here, if you have a little time, there is a bus that goes from Riverside area (easily walkable from Trolley) to TIJ about every 20 or 30 minutes IIRC.

The reason I know this is that I wanted to see firsthand the "naked woman" house on the way to TIJ that I saw on an episode of Globetrekker a long time ago. Yes, it really is there, though when I saw it a few years ago somewhat dilapidated. I walked as I only knew that it was on the way to the airport, and had a couple of buses pass me on the way.

Could you verify the Lan Mexico website please, www.lan.mx and www.ex.mx are both non-working sites.

Anybody know a way to get a several day stopover in SCL?

LAN----TIJ-SCL-TIJ biz $2143.ai

Great biz fare for those in SoCal.
Seems to be bookable on Orbitz US site. Many days in Nov.
I checked Nov. 12-26 for a two week Spring trip to Chile.

It looks like LAN is working the Mexico market and the sales are good.

For the LAN TIJ-IPC, does anyone know if all passengers are required to be present for ticket purchase?
