  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Nope, still there. This deal requires flying LAX-KUL on MH metal, and that flight only runs M, W, F, and Su. Also, be sure you're looking at travel dates between 06JAN and 31MAY.

Worth noting that this is also available one-way for about $1700. I'm doing SFO-LAX-NRT-KUL-BKK on MH, then adding a cheap BKK-CMB flight on to the end to get to CMB to enjoy some of what there is to offer there.

I am not seeing a $1711 round-trip CMB-LAX fare on MH. What dates are you using? The cheapest I see is around $2750.

Note you wouldn't get BA silver from this alone as you need 4 qualifying BA sectors in there, too.

Looks like AA have updated their fare info for the AMS-GRU trips for ~ €2300. Can work it to get 77W on all non-intra-C2 flights. Includes one free stopover in each direction.

I've played around on Matrix, AA, and Expedia, and can get an example itinerary of AMS-DFW//DFW-GRU//GRU-DFW//DFW-AMS for €2875. Substituting MIA/JFK brings it up just a touch more (in my searches), but still wondering if anyone has some hints/tips on getting that final €500 off.

Any thoughts?

Thanks! I needed a one way to AKL and constructed one using this special offer. Funny thing, the fare rule was sale 'on/ before 2DEC' so i was not in a hurry, but while playing with options Matrix once shown increased price, i checked ExpertFlyer and realised all fares were withdrawn...

I used MAA which is a bit cheaper and where my company has a shared services center worth visiting.

I booked on Expedia, which was still showing fares available but I doubt it gets ticketed... Actually it has just got!

the MH website is really one of the crappiest website I have ever come across especially for electronic payments.. horrible. Ended up booking everything on Expedia.
Tried to call their reservation office here in the Netherlands and tried their UK office, but not much help. Their HQ call center never picks up anything.. wonder how much business they are losing with such a crappy website and call center.

Cheers!

Don't bother calling. Even if they answer the phone, they will still direct you to book on the website as these sale fares are not available through the call centers.
