- Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
- Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
- Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
- Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
- Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
- The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
- Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

YYZ-LHR-CPT via JNB sub $6k, sub 30c/mile
This is my first post to this forum so not sure if this is interesting to others but it was really great for me as I had to go to LHR for business anyway so I played around on ITA and found it was 5% to 10% cheaper for me to book a stop over in London for work for a week and then continue on to CPT than just fly YYZ to LHR on the days I needed to be there. You can likely fly Z class YYZ to LHR cheaper on other days (or thru Iceland!) but this was great for me as I wanted to visit CPT and this may be my only chance. Catch is 50 day advance booking but this worked out for me. Lots of options depending on days, I went AC and SA but LH, LX and TK were also possible. I was tempted by the A380 on LH until I learned this is not fully flat beds. This seemed to be the most miles possible but a stopover at IST was also possible. Now need to book hotel in CPT! Slightly cheaper fares were possible if not all *A.

DL: PVD-ATL-SEA $720ai RT; 9254 MQM/EQM; 7.8cpm
Stumbled across this nice deal. Not as good as the BOS-PDX for $580 from earlier this year, but still not bad.
There were some other PVD-West Coast destinations in the $800-900 range.
Books into A. My fare basis is QA07A0SP/WNUP. But there are some other fare basis codes with differing restrictions and slightly higher fares. Most had Q/K/L basis codes. Strangely, the Q bases were lower than the K which were lower than the L. Which is exactly backwards.
Scattered dates through the end of the year. Probably available on 40% of all dates, with some blackout periods around the holidays. Looks like Fri/Sun travel not allowed.
I actually purchased for $774 to get the 76W red-eye SEA-ATL. Don't know why this leg pushed the fare up $50 because the fare basis is the same.
Valid routings:
1. PVD-ATL/BOS/CVG/DTT/MEM/MSP/NYC/RDU/SEA/SLC-SEA
2. PVD-SEA

Strange but true. The routing rules I see on a DL fare PVD-SEA (QA07A0SP) are
PVD-ATL/CVG/DTT/MEM/MSP/SLC/NYC/BOS/SEA/RDU-SEA
Also a bit weird to see PVD-RDU in there. I think American once operated that route (as American Eagle?) but, no one operates it right now.
If DL did happen to publish a "direct flight" (same flight number) from PVD-xxx-RDU or PVD-xxx-BOS, that would be eligible for this routing rule, but I don't see any flights like that in October 2013.

I'd be tempted to do it in Y as a mileage run if they have the ~$700 tickets still available early next year. Wouldn't stay in IPC again, but adding a day in SCL could be interesting.
