Ua: Nyc-ont $153-165 rt ~2.7cpm
Seeing routings via IAH and SFO. Not seeing any same day turns but looks like there is at least one Saturday in December and several in January.
Hope someone can use this.

Very nice fare...doesn't look like there's a way to squeeze 5950 out of this, which is what I need.
Edit: Actually, looks like 500-mi mins through SFO get me there!

go via SFO the SFO-ONT is 500 min and its 2586 JFK-SFO = r/t 6172

Yeah...my bad. Just made Silver for the first time, so I don't always think about 500-mi min right away. Now going for gold.

seems you need a Sat stay in the res in order to get it to the $160 range. Too bad I booked my Jan flights already otherwise Id be all over this

Great use for a $100 eCert!
Friday night stay can be done also. Only ~5-6 hours on the ground in ONT. $160+hotel ended up being cheaper than other MR's I was looking at.

Just FYI that hotel room around ONT can be very cheap if you shop around.
