I can't get this to show up on ITA, but it works on klm.com. You can also book a stopover in AMS. I have family members that are probably going to take advantage of this - thanks OP!

I was able to pull up a variety of fares YVR-AMS-IST for between $700 and $750 CAD on klm.com (~5cpm), and I can furthermore confirm that matrix won't pull these fares up.

Which is unfortunate, because KLM's search tool is pretty bad. Anyone know of another flexible search tool like matrix that can price these fares?

This was part of a Facebook contest that KLM Canada had where people could vote for what destination they wanted to go on sale for $750 roundtrip after taxes.

The nominees were Istanbul, Amsterdam, Dublin, and a couple of other cities. It's going to be on sale until June 14 at midnight.

You can read about it on YVRdeals.com, YYCdeals.com, YYZdeals.com, etc. That was the guy who got everyone in Canada to vote for Istanbul.

It looks to be valid from quite a few Canadian cities, even smaller ones like Kelowna and Saskatoon.

Can you put an AMS stopover in this fare?

Do you earn miles for the WS portion of the flight? for EX from YEG-YUL flown on WS even though WS is not on skyteam?

I was wrong, I see T+ fares and Fares on LX even in Feb. Lowest is $711 that I can see so far. YYC-ORD-EWR-IST-ZRH-YUL-YYC
