Pretty much. However, a quick ITA search revealed $478 on DL with outbound on 4/18 or 4/19 with your arrival back on 4/23. Alternatively, you can outbound on 5/3 and return on 5/7 at $478. I haven't tried going to DL.dumb or the Big O to see if its bookable...Hope this helps with dates though!

Seems like a nice VR fare to me. 4.6 for a same-day turn doesn't make much sense-just go to the west coast twice instead

I don't believe that there are regularly scheduled flights to Mogadishu, but Dakar? It's a perfectly safe and reasonable African airport, IMO.

I cant find a good price for JFk to KBL. Otherwise I would be all over it.

There is no such thing as MR to MOW after you calculate all the cost.

Depends. If you have a citizenship of Russia (or most other former Soviet republics, South American countries, several Caribbean countries, Israel, Turkey, Thailand, and a few other countries) residing in NY or LA or nearby, why not do it? No visa needed. Bonus savings if you have friends in Moscow to visit and stay with for a couple of days.

Here's one FTer who needs neither a visa for Russia nor an hotel in Moscow -- so, I'm game, 19-22 April. My second best NYC-MOW fare ever (next only to $450 in August (!) 2009). Thanks much, OP!

I am afraid flights to/from Havana won't earn you any SkyMiles...
