Found LGA-DEN-IAH-LRD RT for $203.30 AI on ITA CO/UA, but only 3/6-3/7/12, with 500 mins comes to 5952 miles or 3.4 cpm, not too bad.

What happened to all the 5-6cpm Hawaii fares from the east coast? Not mileage runs, but they were great for multiple short vacations last couple of years. I dont think I have seen any in the last few months.

It was a super quick sale a few weeks ago that disappeared the same day.

AA COS-DFW-IAD $214 AI RT. Not a mileage run worthy fare @ 6.6 cpm, but a good price for anybody looking to go to DC on the cheap.

Icelandair: IAD-Reykjavik-IAD Memorial Day weekend $645 rt
Not a deal in terms of MR, but a great fare for an exotic destination during peak travel season.
May 24-29 is $645
May 24-31 is $614

I'm baffled. If it is "not a deal in terms of a MR", why would you post it here?

Exactly what I was wondering...a friend of mine bought an entire package (air plus hotel) from Icelandair to Iceland from Seattle for around $700 so I don't even think this would be considered a "good" deal...but to each his or her own...

Should probably be placed in
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...rs-2012-a.html
instead, if it is a rare/good fare. Otherwise - hardly MR worthy.

I'm all for good deals that aren't necessarily MRs, but Icelandair runs promotions constantly, so $645 actually seems a bit high compared to other sales I have seen.

Thanks everyone for the comments; it's now out of MR Deals and into this not-quite-MR Deals thread. Otherwise I can just close non-deal threads such as this fare.
Cheers,
