Not really much worse than AA/UA/DL for long-haul business, according to Skytrax. The only thing is the O class that doesn't give you bonus RDM as a DL elite.

Looks like a deal, though the lowest fare, which is from EWR-LHR is actually operated by UA... not exactly LH first experience then...
Plugging in LGW instead of London solves this problem and even offers the opportunity to fly on the 380 in F out of JFK. Might not be a bad idea to choose LGW instead of LHR this summer anyways with all the immigration nightmares being reported and discussed on the BA forum.

This only seems to price when your destination is HKG. Other Asian destinations (like BKK) aren't pricing anywhere near that.

Still, it's a great price if you need to be in HKG!

Indeed it does. I didn't spot that.

CDG-KUL is coming out at about 1300 rtn.

I've never flown them, though. What's the J product like?

I can usually pick up tickets on this route for 1800 with Etihad, and their product is amazing and you get the chauffeur to/from LHR. I guess it's a case of working out if placing myself in CDG and losing the car is worth the 500 saving.

Not sure how you came up with 1200TP for this; it's actually "only" 920TP.

DUS-LHR BA Club Europe = 40 TP
LHR-MIA BA Club World = 140 TP
MIA-LAX AA Business = 140 TP
LAX-HNL AA Business = 140 TP
Total one way = 460 TP
Total return = 2 * 460 = 920 TP

AA books into A or P on the 2 US routes (MIA - LAX, LAX - HNL), which are 210 TPs per sector. 1,200 total TPs is correct.

If you book on the three class AA 772 MIA-LAX (don't know if it is possible, not looking too much at this fare for myself), is it booking into First (A) or Business (should be I)? That might affect it.

OK....

It's just that the Miles Calculator on BA.com was fairly resolute in denying the existence of an AA First Class on either of these routes. I was just wondering if BA only credits the AA Flagship routes as "First" on AA domestic services.
