I wouldn´t except anything like that from Germany in the near future. LX does this price-battling only in foreign fields, but not where Mother-Lufthansa has here semi-monopol.

I know. Maybe A3 will have some sale? I would be willing to give them a try.

~ $2,000 in C over the summer isn't good enough for you? There certainly have been some very attractive offers ex-Germany for those who can plan far enough in advance.

There are absolutely worth a try!
One of the best intra-european airlines, especially in C-class. I had the pleasure last summer on LHR-ATH and SKG-MUC. Both flights were perfect

2000$ for intra-european C-class? Did I miss the irony?

FWIW the MIA-LAX run is on the 772, should still book into I though...

I think exbayern is referring to the long haul C fares currently offered ex-Germany as opposed to intra-European. About $2,000 to a number of US destinations. Not a bad C fare if you end up in the new C cabin.

Yes, thanks for clarifying! I think of jlisi as a longhaul flyer hence my comment which arose from various posts.

I think that is not a bad C fare either way; anything under $4,000 ex-Germany to western Canada is a very good fare indeed, and with the changes to YVR services in 2013 those fares become excellent options.

Right.

I posted that special and have definitely taken advantage. However I also do lots of intra-Europe flying so I was referring to ATH.

Unfortunately so ... was looking for some dates this Jan-Mar,
but they've been pulled.

Any RGN gems left out there?
