I stand corrected. Lots of availability starting again in January and beyond.

Looks like there's similar fares available out of EWR to SNA/SFO/SAN/PDX/LAS, booking in T class. I have to warn you, however, that I haven't checked availability because I'm more interested in CO/UA matching.

Thanks OP! Just booked for same day SAN-DCA on 11/5 for $200.80 a/i. Best mileage works out for connecting via SLC both ways from SAN. I was bummed when I missed out last night. Glad it rose from the dead today. If you're thinking of doing this one, book it now just in case.

Just booked DCA-ATL-PDX-ATL-DCA for 5.4k miles. Not sure if I'll keep this or not because I'll hit Diamond + rollover without it. Obviously JFK would work out better with the 500mi minimum but couldn't get it to price out low and no same day turns.

Well that didn't last too long. Maybe we can get a reprise with SEA and SFO instead of PDX and SMF?

Looks like it's back, though fares are a little higher. DCA-SAN r/t now prices at $234.

A bit higher than yesterday, but the same three cities from before...and of course no match from UACO, even from ATL/DTW/MSP

I'm curious how long this one lasts for today!

Seems like there's lot to do in DC, so I booked three RT's
SAN-DCA for $240 each. One in Nov., one in Dec, and one in Feb.

Particularly in Oct-Dec, I saw convenient turns departing about 10pm from SAN and returning the next day. No hotel needed if one can sleep on the outbound redeye flight from SAN.

If you're looking for convenience, if you do a Saturday search by schedule you can get what I had above, SAN-SLC-DCA-SLC-SAN leaving at 6:15am and returning at 9:36pm same day.My last MR involved the redeye on SAN-JFK and it was decidedly less pleasant than just getting up early.

I appreciate BHArt's suggestion. Would have loved to to do it on a SAN-ICT run in two weeks. In the case of DC, I wanted time at he destination in addition to the miles.

Sadly, the fare is now gone, and the trip prices at $480.

Newbie question: If CO/UA (or anyone else) was to match, is the convention to put the new info in this thread, or to start a new thread?
